American IT Executives Cautioned about China

The 3 letter US Intelligence Agency has cautioned all the top American IT Executives visiting China to discard all the communication equipments like Laptop, Cell Phone, etc once they are back from their visit as they fear corporate espionage by Chinese Authorities.
The security warning went ahead to say that American companies need to weigh the option of hiring Software Developers of Chinese origin, really especially in the field of Security. So Chinese engineers, seeking H-1B Visas to work in America on competitive cutting edge technologies are likely to be disheartened henceforth.
Should India also follow the US footsteps and issue a warning to its executives as well ? Should India very closely monitor Chinese equipment in telecom sector and other IT related products ?
