Mobile Subscribers Double in 20 Months in India

Mobile India is reporting that the number of Wireless Subscribers in India has hit the 300 million mark. This means the number of cell phone subscribers have doubled in just 20 months in India [According to goBroadband, India had 146 mn subscribers in Dec-2006]Can India sustain the same growth going forward with the gates of 3G Wireless open and more global Cellcos likely to wrestle on the Indian microwaves :-)
