Google Adds Search Box for Refinement

Friday, March 07, 2008

95% of Google users aren't aware of the search syntax to search for a particular website ex:- site:discovery.com In order to enable those 95% of consumers to search and fetch the results they want, Google is deploying a text Box as indicated below.

So when you are searching for a particular piece of information that could be available on discovery.com, all you need to do is hit discovery and then in the search result page you get a text box that will search only discovery.com. This also appears for "ebay".
